Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The MRI Technologist will provide diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging services in a fast-paced military hospital environment supporting inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty care services. This position requires rotating shifts, weekend, holiday, and emergency essential coverage in a 24/7 imaging department.
Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology program.
Strong MRI imaging and patient care skills Knowledge of MRI safety standards and screening procedures Ability to work independently in a high-volume hospital setting Strong communication and teamwork abilities Experience with PACS and EMR systems Ability to work rotating schedules and emergency essential assignments Schedule: Evening Shift (M-F): 1430 – 2300 Work Environment: Hospital-based military medical center supporting inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty diagnostic imaging services in a 24/7 operational environment.
Must meet ATAMMC occupational health, immunization, tuberculosis screening, respirator fit testing, HIPAA, DHA training, and background screening requirements.
