About the role

Nurses provide holistic care, assessment, and medication management for clients with eating disorders in an inpatient setting. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate medical care and develop individualized treatment plans.

Position Overview Nurses provide holistic and compassionate nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team to clients with Eating Disorders and other comorbid disorders in an inpatient higher level of care (HLOC) setting.

  • Schedules
  • Full Time (36 hours per week)
  • Every other weekend rotation (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Part Time (24 hours per week)
  • Every other weekend rotation (Saturday and Sunday)
  • PRN (4 shifts per month)
  • Requires 2 weekend shifts per month (Saturday or Sunday)

  • Compensation Disclosure
  • LPN Starting hourly range between $30-$35
  • RN Starting hourly range between $39-42

Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position

  • How Nurses Empower Recovery
  • Provides client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns appropriately
  • Provides medication management including education, assessing adherence, administration in the inpatient and residential setting only, and monitoring for side effects in collaboration with provider
  • Assists and supports medical and psychiatric providers with medical care coordination
  • Provides medical care coordination between patient, provider, staff, family and outside care agencies as needed
  • Serves as a staff resource for client medical needs and information
  • Partners with the treatment team to create the appropriate treatment plan for each client

Qualifications

  • Licensed as an LPN or RN in Georgia or a compact license
  • Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive
  • Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire
  • Experience or strong desire to work in a mental health setting

Requirements

Candidates must be a licensed LPN or RN in Georgia or hold a compact license and possess a valid driver's license. Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
