Provides direct nursing care to patients from infants to geriatrics using the nursing process and professional technical skills. Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans and maintains accurate patient records.
Part time position available.
Under direction, provides direct nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, performs technical nursing functions and upholds the standard of practice of a professional nurse in caring for infant through geriatric patients.
Education: Associates degree in Nursing Required; Bachelors degree in Nursing Preferred
RN license required. CPR required. ACLS and PALS preferred
Additional Experience Preferred
One year of RN experience preferred.
Current knowledge of clinical practice.
Ability to operate and handle many kinds of complex equipment.
Ability to demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current knowledge in caring for adolescent through geriatric patients.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of theory, principles, techniques, and practice of professional nursing; of scientific principles and nursing research; of preparation, administration, and actions of medications; of treatments and medical procedures; of counseling and teaching techniques; of medical equipment as it relates to patient care.
