What You’ll Do
As a Periodontal Surgical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our periodontist and clinical team throughout surgical and nonsurgical periodontal procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the periodontist during periodontal and implant procedures
Performing preoperative and postoperative patient care duties
Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining a sterile clinical environment
Supporting an unobstructed operative field using suction, retractors, and irrigation
Preparing, inspecting, and sterilizing instruments and equipment
Obtaining and processing dental radiographs and imaging as needed
Monitoring patient comfort and status during procedures
