About the role

The Clinician provides evidence-based substance misuse treatment through individual, group, and family counseling sessions. They are responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining comprehensive client records within an EHR system.

Position Summary

All Together Recovery LLC (ATR), provides multiple levels of ASAM SUD/BHSO care, including recovery housing, education, job training, employment, and other recovery related extensions to the family in for-profit and non-profit environments. The Clinician’s responsibilities include but are not limited to being well versed in clinical programs available, internal as well as state policies, procedures, and rules. They will be available to clients, family members, or community representatives to answer any questions regarding ATR services. They are responsible for ensuring clients receive the best possible services for the best possible outcomes. As a licensed clinician or associate, they will effectively provide evidence-based substance misuse treatment modalities to clients through individual, group and/or family counseling sessions and development of treatment plans while working with multi-disciplinary team to provide continuity of care to the client.

General responsibilities and requirments

Must have a valid Kentucky driver’s license. Participate in all necessary staff meetings. Be proficient in all ATR rules, policies, and procedures. Model servant leadership. Operate with integrity in all circumstances. Communicate effectively and be responsive to verbal and written correspondences. Responsible for completion of all psychosocial assessments of potential intakes. Meet with clients to evaluate substance misuse issues and possible co-occurring disorders and skills to deliver appropriate education and treatment services including crisis intervention and support services. Complete assessments and assessment updates in the required time allotment and competent diagnosis of any SUD and mental health illness disorders and assist the client in developing personal goals for treatment including building skills for future employment. Orient clients to the programs operation and procedures including intake/readmissions counseling and provide appropriate referrals for other services. Maintain complete, comprehensive, and well-organized client records per ATR policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines. Evaluate client’s stage of change, utilizing motivational interviewing to move them close to the next stage. Provide individual and group therapy sessions. Monitor, review, and sign all clinical notes in EHR system for completion, thoroughness, and timeliness on a daily basis. Review case management notes and sign off on billing as needed. Be available to clients to discuss their treatment plans or other clinical issues as they arise, at the same time, ensuring compliance. All other duties as assigned.

Background/Education

Master’s degree in behavioral science field. Valid professional license (CSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPCC, CADC, LCADC, OR LCADCA) or under supervision. (In-house supervision available for CSW) Prefer at least 1 year in a SUD residential setting. Proficiency in both group and individual counseling Ability to develop treatment plans with specific goals and objectives corresponding to each client’s needs. Work in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate needed services for clients. Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, and credentialing level.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a behavioral science field and a valid professional license (such as LCSW, LMFT, or LCADC). A valid Kentucky driver's license is required, and experience in a SUD residential setting is preferred.
