The Oncology Nurse Navigator coordinates patient care through the disease process, acting as a clinical liaison across medical services. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, providing education on treatments, and facilitating multidisciplinary consultations.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with a current Illinois license and a BSN from an accredited school. Preferred qualifications include OCN or ONS Chemotherapy certification and at least two years of hematology/oncology clinical experience.

In this role, the Oncology Nurse Navigator will partner with the rest of the clinical team to provide patients the highest quality of care. Under the direction of a faculty sponsor and in collaboration with the program support team, the Oncology Nurse Navigator coordinates the care of patients through the disease process and acts as a clinical liaison for patients, across medical services and clinical departments.

UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
