One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Radiologic Mammography Technologist, you will perform mammographic imaging procedures in our outpatient clinics.Every day you will assist in preparing patients for Radiologic/Mammography examinations and relay instructions from the radiologist, help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions, and collect patient data, documenting patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided in the patient's medical record for the Radiologist’s review.

You will also troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

You may be required to occasionally work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed.To be successful in this role, you will have an enthusiasm to help others and a desire to have a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Requirements

Requires completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program, 40 hours of structured Mammography education, and a current CA Medical Radiographer license. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is also required.
