Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the nursing field. Education Requirements:
Graduate of a nursing program is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Experience Requirements:
One (1) year experience in emergency or critical care nursing experience is strongly preferred. Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current Mississippi RN licensure is required. BLS is required; ACLS and PALS certifications are required (or within 30 days of hire into the position for new certifications & prior to independent patient care assignment). TNCC is required (for new certifications, after one (1) year of emergency nursing experience) & CPI certification is required (or within 90 days of hire into the position). ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certification is strongly preferred.
Requires a nursing program graduate with a current Mississippi RN license and BLS certification. ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications are required, while a Bachelor's degree and one year of emergency or critical care experience are preferred.
