The Inpatient Therapist supports day-to-day operations of Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs. Key duties include conducting assessments, providing individual and group therapy, and managing discharge planning and utilization reviews.

We offer inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services and are very proud of our specialized Military and Women's programs. Position Summary

The Inpatient Therapist is responsible for providing support to the day-to-day operations of the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs including, but not limited to: administrative functions, utilization review, assessment, discharge planning, group/individual therapy, case management, and other duties related to delivering a successful program. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Coordinate the process for determining and maintaining accurate legal processes for patients. Ensure Infection Control, Safety and Risk Management policies are consistently implemented on the unit. Process unusual occurrence reports, conduct investigations and corrective plans when needed. Qualifications

Education

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.

Experience

Program Therapist requires a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Outpatient experience preferred.

License

LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LPC-Associate to practice in the State of Texas.

Requirements: Successful completion of CPR and approved HWC training. Certification may be obtained during new hire orientation. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours. Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work or a related mental health field and possess a valid Texas license (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LPC-Associate). A minimum of two years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility is required.
