EMDR Therapist – Full Time Location

High Focus Centers, a trusted provider of outpatient behavioral health treatment in southeastern Pennsylvania, delivers individualized, evidence-based care through our specialized programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. We proudly serve both adults and adolescents addressing mental health, eating disorders, and co-occurring disorders in structured, supportive environments.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time EMDR Therapist to join our clinical team in Lansdale, PA. This role will primarily focus on maintaining an individual therapy caseload, with some group facilitation responsibilities within our structured outpatient programs. The schedule will include daytime hours with some evening availability to support client needs.

Position overview

The EMDR Therapist provides trauma-informed clinical services to clients participating in our outpatient programs. The primary focus of this role is providing individual therapy utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other evidence-based modalities to support clients experiencing trauma-related and other mental health concerns.

This therapist will also facilitate occasional group therapy sessions and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support each client’s treatment goals and recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy sessions, utilizing EMDR and other evidence-based approaches when clinically appropriate
  • Maintain an individual outpatient caseload focused on trauma-informed treatment
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on coping skills, emotional regulation, and recovery-oriented topics
  • Complete intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and level-of-care recommendations as needed
  • Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on client progress and clinical needs
  • Collaborate with referral sources, families (when appropriate), and internal clinical staff to ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with program and regulatory standards
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

  • Required
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field
  • Completion of a clinically focused internship or practicum
  • Experience providing individual therapy in a behavioral health setting
  • Preferred
  • EMDR training or certification preferred
  • Experience working with trauma-related disorders
  • Experience working in PHP, IOP, or other structured outpatient behavioral health programs
