PM - 8:00 PM Join Our Emergency Department Team. Our Emergency Department nurses are expertly trained to care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. They perform bedside procedures, utilize advanced trauma and medical equipment, and provide continuous monitoring to deliver exceptional patient care. With opportunities to work across our Emergency Departments, including Rock Island (Level II Trauma Center), Bettendorf (Level IV Trauma Center), and Moline, you'll gain experience caring for a wide variety of patients and emergency conditions. Demonstrates high-quality nursing care using the nursing process and specialty-specific clinical skills. Assesses patient and family needs and develops individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Provides age-appropriate, culturally sensitive patient and family education using effective teaching strategies. Utilizes critical thinking to make independent judgments, delegate tasks, and maintain accountability for patient outcomes. Engages in professional development and shares knowledge through networking, research, and collaboration. Maintains current licenses/certifications and adheres to HIPAA, JCAHO, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements. Ensures patient and workplace safety by preventing errors, accidents, and infections, and promptly reporting concerns.
Education: Diploma from an RN program. License(s)/Certification(s): Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must possess and maintain ACLS *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
