Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Lab Assistant, you will play a crucial role in solving diagnostic mysteries, bringing us one step closer to effectively treating patient illnesses and injuries.Every day you will utilize your expertise and our advanced technology to precisely collect, prepare, and process a diverse range of patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) for various diagnostic tests.

Moves processed samples quickly to laboratory departments for testing Handles Laboratory Send-out testing.
Processes, organizes, packing lists and packaging for testing sent to external laboratories according to procedures Job Requirements Required High School Diploma or GED Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association within 90 Days of start date Preferred Certificate from Lab Assistant Program within six (6) months of hire or six (6) months experience in an acute care facility Certificate Other Phlebotomy program
