Perform comprehensive evaluations and implement tailored treatment plans for pediatric patients in their homes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and maintain detailed documentation of patient progress.
Must possess a valid Occupational Therapy license in Texas and a current BLS/CPR certification. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance are required.
Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy. Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders. Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a ride range of diagnoses. Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team. Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
