Provide high-quality patient care using therapeutic communication and active listening. Collaborate with the Wellness and Recovery care team and nursing staff to deliver multidisciplinary treatment.

Addiction Recovery Specialist – Recovery and Wellness Bring your passion to Texas Health So We Are Better + Together! Work location: Addiction Recovery Center, 240 North Miller Road Mansfield, TX 76063 Work hours: PRN; day/night and weekend availability required. Shift 6:45 - 7:15 Department highlights: · Flexible schedules · Creative therapies providing personal expression and multidisciplinary treatment · A collaborative team approach

Here’s What You Need · High school diploma or equivalent. · One year of experience in substance abuse or as a patient care technician is required.

Alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent with CNA certification is required.

Alternatively, an associate's degree in mental health or another healthcare-related field is required. · One year of experience in substance abuse and/or addiction is preferred. · BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And · CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 30 Days Required And AHAFA - American Heart Association First Aid Certification must be maintained 90 Days Required What You Will Do · Therapeutic communication is key when interacting with patients, collaborating with the Wellness and Recovery care team, and working effectively with nursing staff, all while exemplifying active listening and non-verbal communication elements.
