$20.19-$24.61 plus shift differentials (Pay information will vary depending upon relevant experience for the position) Evenings- Full Time and Part Time
Provides direct care to residents under the supervision of the nurse.
Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to work independently, make good observations and have good reporting skills.
Responsive to resident needs and preferences. Considers resident satisfaction a priority.
Provides direct care and support for the care needs of the resident according the Nursing Care Plan.
Grooming includes:
Provides for the maintenance and rehabilitative needs of the residents according to the Nursing Care Plan.
Maintenance rehabilitative needs include:
Communication in a manner that enables the resident to understand and be understood.
Provides direct assistance to the licensed staff through the gathering, reporting and documenting of care provided.
All other duties as assigned.
Previous experience as a nursing assistant or working with the elderly is desirable.
