Provides Clerical Support to the Medical Records department including scanning, filing, document management and scheduling.
High school diploma or equivalent, strong organizational and computer skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent professional communication skills.
This position will assist the administrative assistant and other team members with the following:
Scan and upload documents into Jewish Home medical record.
File and maintain HIPAA compliant clinical records.
Fax and email documents.
Assist with other clerical duties as assigned such as clinic scheduling.
Provide support to medical consultants.
All other job duties as assigned.
Previous clerical, administrative, or medical office experience preferred. Experience with electronic medical records systems a plus.
