The Private Duty Nurse (PDN) is a valued member of the client care team that provides meaningful nursing services to pediatric patients - babies and toddlers - right here in our local community, opportunities to support them one-on-one both in the home and in the school setting. Long term stable client census exists, opportunities to be with the same patient to support their long-term growth and development.

$40 - $42 per hour
Flexible schedule, Days, Nights, Weekends, PRN opportunities. Variety of shift lengths available, from short single visits up to 12-hour shifts.
St. Joseph and Berrien Springs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Evaluates and treats clients with appropriate level of skill according to client's needs under the supervision of an RN, Clinical Manager. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Provide nursing services both in the home and school environment. Verbal demonstrations of client rights and responsibilities Support case management by coordinating patient care plans and follow-up appointments. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations through eMAR systems. Demonstrate proper use of equipment. Ensure HIPAA regulations are adhered to. All other duties assigned.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensure / Certification: Registered Nurse who is licensed by the State of Michigan. Must have a current, unencumbered license as an RN. The license must be in good standing in the state of Michigan. Must maintain all state and federal compliance requirements for licensure and employment.
Travel is required for business purposes. Employees must have a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which they work and a satisfactory driving record.

Experience: Minimum of one year of home care experience. One additional year of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital.
