Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic exams across multiple sites, including CT services at designated locations
  • Operate radiology equipment (X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy, C-Arm, portable radiography) to produce high-quality images
  • Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, shielding, and adherence to ALARA principles
  • Complete patient registrations and perform clerical tasks as needed to support walk-in teams
  • Review images for quality and communicate findings to appropriate team members, following facility protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and assist with basic QA and equipment checks

Requirements

  • ARRT Registered (Radiography) and Maine RT Licensure
  • BLS Certification - 2+ years of solid hospital-based radiologic experience preferred
  • CT, fluoroscopy, C-Arm, and portable radiology experience preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work at all listed locations (York, Wells, Sanford, Berwick, South Berwick, Kittery) and to cover varied shifts including days, evenings, overnights (if CT trained), and weekends
  • Flexibility to assist with patient registrations and clerical tasks as needed
