This contract position requires an on-site presence, making it an ideal opportunity for professionals looking to make a significant impact in the healthcare sector.

As a key player in our Radiation Oncology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is vital as we strive to provide exceptional medical services and contribute to innovative cancer care initiatives.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with cancer using radiation therapy Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the oncology team Conduct patient consultations and follow-ups to monitor treatment progress Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for compliance Collaborate with nurses, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals Ensure adherence to safety protocols and radiation guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care Stay updated on advancements in radiation oncology practices

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Current medical license to practice in the state of Florida Experience in Radiation Oncology, ideally within a clinical environment Strong understanding of oncology treatment protocols and radiation techniques Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting Commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive patient care Willingness to comply with all safety and regulatory requirements

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts

Daily Volume: 4+ consults and 20-25 treatments

Dedicated support staff

EMR: Mosaiq and Epic

On-Site Resources: Electa machines & MR-Linac

Radiopharmaceutical & GI/GU experience preferred

Must be board-certified
