Overview Travel Radiology Technologist – X-Ray (CT procedures) in Mount Clemens, MI, United States.

Start date: 07/20/2026 for a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week guaranteed.

Afternoon shift, 8 hours per day.

Hospital setting.

This travel opportunity requires ARRT and BLS certifications, with a minimum of 2 years of X-ray or CT experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and monitor CT imaging procedures; position and immobilize patients as needed and operate CT equipment per protocol.
  • Verify patient identity and collect pertinent medical history and known allergies; monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Prepare and, when indicated, inject intravenous contrast under Radiologist protocol; monitor patients for contrast-related reactions.
  • Acquire, review, and archive CT and radiographic images; ensure proper storage and transfer of digital studies.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists and other staff; perform routine daily calibration and quality control of imaging equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment; adhere to safety standards and departmental procedures; assist with emergency situations as needed.

Requirements

  • Certification: ARRT (Radiography) and BLS
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of X-ray imaging or CT experience
  • License/Regulatory: General requirements to operate in the listed setting; Michigan location
  • Skills: Proficiency with CT and radiography equipment; strong patient positioning and safety practices
  • Travel: Ability to participate in a travel assignment and work in a hospital setting
  • Additional: On-call availability and weekend rotation as part of the assignment
