About the role

The Certified Medication Aide is responsible for the safe and accurate administration of medications to residents according to state regulations. They also support the nursing team with documentation, resident care tasks, and maintaining medication supplies.

Pleasantview Care Center is a compassionate long‑term care and skilled nursing community dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents.

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team and support safe, accurate medication administration.

The Certified Medication Aide is responsible for administering medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.

The CMA also provides support to the nursing team with documentation, resident care tasks, and communication to ensure high‑quality care and resident wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities Administer medications accurately and safely under the supervision of a licensed nurse Document medication administration in accordance with facility procedures Report medication discrepancies, adverse reactions, or changes in resident condition Assist residents with daily living tasks as assigned (activities, hygiene, meals, etc.) Maintain medication carts, supplies, and ensure cleanliness and organization Follow all infection control, safety, and confidentiality guidelines Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff Support the nursing team with additional duties as needed

Qualifications

Active Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification for the state of Ohio STNA certification active in Ohio Experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident safety Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Compassionate, dependable, and resident‑focused High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Requirements
