Provides vocational rehabilitation individual and group counseling. Fosters pre-vocational, work-readiness, employment goals and performs intakes. Interacts with individual in workshop setting for scheduled time period. Responsible for appropriate documentation including ie; progress note entries, goals and objectives, etc. Assists in development and completion of Treatment Plan. Completes Monthly OASAS Vocational Statistics. Attends all required and assigned meetings (staff, intake review, status/placement meetings and conferences). Establishes and maintains working relationship with internal and external agencies (i.e.; educators, ACCES-VR, employers, other agencies) to develop suitable vocational planning. With team input, determines readiness and does paperwork for referrals for job placement/supported work/Department of Social Services. May be required to attend walk-in clinic or hospital emergency room with individual.
Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or Mental Health Counseling required Certification in Rehabilitation Counseling required.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
