About the role

The technologist is responsible for performing laboratory and x-ray procedures while managing equipment setup and shutdown. They also handle inventory management and ensure all supplies and chemicals are current and available.

Overview The Laboratory / X-Ray Technologist works under general supervision to perform laboratory and x-ray procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment.

Responsibilities

Prepare laboratory and laboratory equipment and x-ray supplies and equipment for daily operation (e.g., turn on equipment and computer, retrieve necessary chemicals, reagents, etc.) Inventory lab and x-ray supplies to ensure sufficient amounts are available Examine expiration dates of chemicals and replace expired products Complete and obtain ABN waivers, as needed Perform shut-down procedures on equipment at end of day (e.g., general cleaning, flushing lines, disassembly, return
