About the role

Overview The Registered Medical Assistant / Laboratory / X-Ray Technologist works under general supervision to perform laboratory and x-ray procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment. Performs patient care tasks under general supervision with minimal independent judgment. Maintains all lab records and equipment logs.

Responsibilities

Prepare laboratory and laboratory equipment and x-ray supplies and equipment for daily operation (e.g., turn on equipment and computer, retrieve necessary chemicals, reagents, etc.) Inventory lab and x-ray supplies to ensure sufficient amounts are available Examine expiration dates of chemicals and replace expired products Perform shut-down procedures on equipment at end of day (e.g., general cleaning, flushing lines, disassembly, return

Qualifications
