Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose patients requiring radiation therapy Design individual treatment plans and oversee the administration of therapies Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Monitor patient progress and make modifications to treatments as necessary Educate patients and their families about treatment options and procedures Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiation oncology

Requirements

MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree from an accredited institution Board certification in Radiation Oncology 1+ years of clinical experience in radiation oncology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning Dedication to delivering high-quality patient care

Schedule: 8a-4:30p, specific dates

No call requirement

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Population: Adult & geriatric

Required Procedures: Radiation oncology, emergent/urgent clinic visits, and treatment planning, treatment supervision

Support Staff: RN

EMR: Epic & Aria

Must be board-certified
