Provide integrated nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy for patients in the Adolescent Eating Disorders Program. Develop individualized treatment plans, conduct nutritional assessments, and provide education to patients and families.
Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or related area granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college or university. Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association.
Requires a minimum of six (6) months dietary experience in a health care facility. Experience in working with eating disorders patients is strongly preferred; however, education in the field may be accepted in lieu of experience.
Registered Dietitian or eligible for registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association; Certification/Licensure as required by state of practice.

Requirements: CPR with AED (CPR/AED) certification must be current and presented to Human Resources upon hire. Completion of Fremont Hospital’s non-violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training course within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with preventative intervention measures.
