The Information Specialist is responsible for screening initial service requests and completing intake and assessment activities. They also handle demographic registration and provide necessary support and linkage for clients facing behavioral health challenges.

  • Washington County Clinic - Washington, PA 15301Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, third party insurances and private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day, and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach, and housing program. As a Screening and Intake Specialist with Chartiers Center at our Washington County Clinic, you would be committed to provide compassionate supports to people facing behavioral health challenges.

Minimum Qualifications

Skills to engage callers Possess system knowledge to provide other necessary support and linkage, as indicated by presenting need Sufficient expertise to function relatively autonomously in making judgements, recommendations and credibility required by service providers, if necessary Bachelor’s degree in Human Service field Two (2) years’ experience in behavioral health Diversity and Inclusion- Each of our clients/individuals is uniquely different and so are we. Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a Human Service field and have at least two years of experience in behavioral health. Strong skills in caller engagement and the ability to function autonomously are required.
