Market context

Florida pediatric bereavement roles need licensed experience

In Florida, pediatric bereavement counselor roles are often tied to pediatric hospitals, hospice programs, and child-focused behavioral health services, where demand follows the need for family support after serious illness or loss. These positions are competitive because employers usually want a master’s degree, at least 2 years in social services, and prefer LCSW or LMHC credentials, plus a Care Provider Background Screening. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to quickly compare fit before applying, and confirm your clinical experience includes grief support with children and families.
