Situated on a 4.2-acre secluded site, the Hospice House is surrounded by lush foliage, a pond with waterfall, a gazebo and numerous meditation areas.
The VNA Hospice House, a unique blend of beauty and function, is the only in-patient hospice facility in Indian River County, for those facing life-limiting illnesses.
Each of the 12 private bedrooms is completely handicapped accessible and has a private bath, sleeping accommodations for overnight family visitors, and screened patio with doors wide enough to allow bed access.
Must be currently licensed as an RN in the state of Florida.
Must have at least two years acute care or Hospice experience.
1. Maintains the most up-to-date knowledge of symptom management. 2. Maintains compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory agencies. 3. Ability to work with diversified groups of people. 4. Attends and participates in meeting pertinent to job responsibilities. 5. Participates in VNA Hospice orientation and in-service training programs for professional staff. 6. Participates in agency and community programs as requested, to promote professional growth and understanding of Hospice care. 7. Promotes customer service.
