. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified medical professional to engage in a meaningful practice that supports the healthcare needs of our community.

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images to provide high-quality patient care. Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficacy of our medical practice, addressing a wide spectrum of cases and collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs Interpret and analyze medical images for accurate diagnosis Collaborate with physicians to discuss imaging results and patient care Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations in imaging Maintain detailed patient records and document findings Stay updated on advancements in radiology and imaging techniques Provide recommendations for follow-up imaging or tests as needed Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina Strong understanding of radiological techniques and patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset Familiarity with medical imaging software and technology Previous experience in a clinical environment preferred

Schedule: 8 to 9-hour day shifts, specific dates

No call requirement

Setting: Onsite

Caseload: 50% light IR, 50% DX

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
