Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for individuals, groups, and families across all age groups. Provide therapeutic interventions and coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive behavioral health care.
TITLE: BEHAVIORAL HEALTH – LPC, LCSW, or other mental health credentials

STATUS: Regular, full-time
Location: Newkirk, OK
AND DUTIES: Developing individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs of each client. Providing counseling sessions to individuals, groups, and families across the lifespan. Utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and/or other therapeutic approaches to help clients understand and change their behaviors. Coordinating with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to care. Monitoring clients’ progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary Educating clients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with confidentiality laws and ethical guidelines. Work with clients to identify situations or behaviors that interfere with their recovery. Referring clients to additional resources and services, such as support groups, inpatient treatment facilities, or vocational training programs. Staying informed about the latest research and developments in behavioral health.
All new hires will be required by the Kaw Nation to submit to a pre-employment drug screen. Failure to pass the pre hire drug screen will lead to withdrawal of the job offer or termination of employment. All new hires must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, pull, push and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Must hold a Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work and a current Oklahoma license (LPC or LCSW). Requires experience in substance abuse treatment, diagnostic techniques, and proficiency in ICD-10 and CPT coding.
