Salary Range: $42,000–$55,000 annually

Position Summary

The Vocational Specialist is a member of an interdisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team that supports clients living in the community with behavioral health challenges. The role focuses on helping clients obtain and maintain competitive employment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop employment opportunities by directly contacting employers.

Assess clients’ work readiness and employment skills.

Provide job training, coaching, and on‑the‑job support.

Assist clients with resume development and interview preparation.

Serve as a liaison with the business community and advocacy organizations.

Complete documentation and service follow‑through in electronic medical records.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of one to two years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health disorders is preferred.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Familiarity with psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation.
