The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for interpreting and verifying medication orders while providing clinical consultations and monitoring drug therapies. They also supervise pharmacy support staff and participate in quality improvement and emergency bedside alerts.

Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor degree in Pharmacy. Licensed Pharmacist in the state of VA.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for Critical Care and Emergency Medicine, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
Experience: One (1) year experience as a Clinical Pharmacist. EPIC trained PGY 1 residency.
Candidates must hold a PharmD or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and be a licensed pharmacist in Virginia. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with a preference for PGY 1 residency and EPIC experience.
