About the role

Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and injuries of the teeth, gums, and oral tissues. Maintain detailed dental records and provide preventive care and dental appliances to patients.

Eligible for up to $200,000 in tax-free loan repayment over a period of up to eight years through NHSC

Eligible for up to $300,000 in tax-free loan repayment over a period of up to ten years through MSLRP

Eligible for complete loan forgiveness through PSLF after 10 years of employment with FHC 1-2 dental assistants per dentist Patients are assigned to individual dentists to allow for continuity of care Other dentist(s) in the office to allow for treatment collaboration and mentorship Wide variety of procedures completed in-office (composites, amalgams, dentures, partials, extractions, crown and bridge, endo, etc.) Medical clinic and pharmacy on site Duties include, but are not limited to: Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums; treat diseases of nerve, pulp, and other dental tissues affecting oral hygiene and retention of teeth; fit dental appliances or provide preventive care to dental clinic patients; maintain dental records; review and notify patients of diagnostic test and consultation results; and respond to patient care tasks and phone calls consistent with good dental practice.

The Pere Marquette River, one of the finest trout rivers in the Midwest, draws fishermen from all over the world due to its trophy salmon and steelhead. Baldwin is located just 40 minutes from the sandy beaches and dunes of Lake Michigan in the popular beachfront community of Ludington and is about 90 minutes from Grand Rapids.

Requirements

Must possess a valid State of Michigan Dentist License and a US Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. The candidate should be an experienced practitioner capable of performing a wide variety of in-office procedures.
