The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, usually under the direction of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with established plans. The Licensed Practical Nurse is a key member of the care delivery team. The Licensed Practical Nurse communicates the needs of the patient and the team; collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, takes direction from the RN and delegates appropriately to the other members of the team.
Our Rochester Regional Health gastroenterologists, hepatologists, and other specialists work together to provide advanced preventive, diagnostic, and treatment options for conditions affecting the digestive system- including the stomach, intestines, colon, pancreas, liver, and esophagus. We partner with our patients to determine the best diagnostic or treatment option for them through our key programs. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care during gastrointestinal and pulmonary procedures, including endoscopies, colonoscopies, bronchoscopies and other advanced and nurse driven procedures.
