The Student Respiratory Therapist supports cardiopulmonary services by assisting with patient transport, equipment maintenance, and routine respiratory procedures. They work under the supervision of an RRT to provide care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
The Student Respiratory Therapist supports a wide variety of services including assisting in internal transports, positioning and moving patients, replacing oxygen cylinders, keeping work environment clean and assisting in all necessary paperwork with appropriate supervision of an RRT. This position is Part-Time not benefit eligible working 8 hours daily with up to 16 hours weekly on varied shifts. This position reports to the Director of Cardiopulmonary.
Candidates must hold a current Ohio practice license and BLS certification. ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are preferred or must be obtained within six months of hire.
