Intake/Admissions Nurse We are currently seeking RNs to work PRN in the Intake/Admissions department.
The RN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care.
Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point.
Our Intake/Admissions RNs work with potential patients, referral sources, and medical providers over the phone and with new patients in person.
Responding expeditiously to patient referrals Review of patient records Processing patient admissions Patient assessments Obtaining admission approvals PRN days and hours can vary.
Shift hours for full-length shifts may be 10:00am to 10:00pm, 2:00pm to 2:00am, and/or 7:00pm to 7:00am.

Requirements
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Georgia and hold BLS/CPR certification. Experience in mental health or substance abuse treatment and knowledge of Medicare/commercial insurance is preferred.
