About the role

The Physician Assistant will examine and treat patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications under physician direction. The role requires exercising independent judgment to manage complex medical issues with minimal supervision.

In this role, you will practice medicine under the direction of physicians, working on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. This is a full-time position, and you will be based at our University City center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As Physician Assistant, you will

Take medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interprets laboratory tests and X-rays, make diagnoses, and prescribe medications

Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks

Work under minimal supervision, using independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
  • -2 or more years of experience practicing as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a primary care setting
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Must be willing to participate in limited on-call coverage by phone

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$123,800 - $170,300 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
