About the role

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for calibrating instruments according to ATS standards and performing diagnostic tests in a pulmonary lab. They also manage patient information and direct patients as needed within the outpatient setting.

Overview We are accepting applications for a PRN position in our high-volume pulmonary diagnostic lab. The position is Monday – Friday 8a – 5p. Be a part of a dynamic group of respiratory therapists serving 9 pulmonologists and 3 APRNs in the outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

Calibrate instruments in accordance to ATS standards Receive patients information into PF lab Perform diagnostics tests ordered by physician, or per lab protocol in accordance with ATS policy and procedure manual Direct patients as needed

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program Active Arkansas Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License 1 + years’ experience and/or training preferred High focus and commitment to continuous process improvement Active BLS required Excellent communication and organizational skills About Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic is a physician-owned practice who encourages teamwork and collaboration, increasing efficiency in care, and ensuring patients receive a positive health care experience. Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Respiratory Care program with an active Arkansas RRT license and BLS certification. Preferred candidates have 1 to 2+ years of experience and a commitment to continuous process improvement.
