About the Role

We’re seeking experienced, compassionate, and adaptable Registered Nurses across a range of specialties to join a respected health system in Alaska on a three-year contract.

As an RN, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes. You’ll work in a facility known for its strong nurse-to-patient ratios, trauma care excellence, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with behavioral health protocols and therapeutic standards

Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to assess mental health needs and implement individualized care plans

Document psychiatric evaluations, nursing interventions, and patient progress with accuracy and timeliness

Respond to psychiatric crises and medical emergencies, performing critical interventions such as de-escalation techniques and emergency procedures

Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and discharge planning to support long-term wellness

Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines, including those specific to behavioral health environments

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • NCLEX-RN successfully passed (or NCLEX study is in progress as a minimum)
  • English proficiency (certification or native fluency)
  • Minimum 24 months of recent acute care experience
  • Willingness to relocate to Alaska for a minimum of 3 years
