Certified Surgical Technician - Operating Room

Responsibilities

• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) - Operating Room (OR) This is a Per Diem shift position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services the Operating Room Technician has 8 hour accountability for the safe care of patients in the Operating Suites.
• Working in a team effort with the circulating nurse to provide specialized care.
• Scrubs in on surgical cases and is responsible for maintaining sterile techniques.
• Must possess thorough knowledge of instrument usage and care.
• May transport patients and be required to put away equipment.

Qualifications

CST Requirements

• Operating Room Technician Certification required. Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
