As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients in emergency situations, utilizing your medical expertise to make prompt decisions and provide life-saving interventions. Requirements: **Position Details for Emergency Medicine Coverage**

- **Specialty**: Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

- **Coverage Period**: July to September 2026 -

- **Shift Schedule**

Available shifts from 7 PM to 8 AM or 8 AM to 7 PM; candidates should specify available days in their presentation

- **Type of Privileges**: Hospital-based

- **Work Setting**: Outpatient and inpatient (Emergency Department primarily operates as outpatient)

- **Patient Demographics**: Diverse populations

- **Patient Volume**: Approximately 41 patients per day

- **Required Procedures**: Standard emergency room procedures

- **Staffing**: Solo practice, though day shifts may have Advanced Practice Provider (APP) assistance

**Certification Requirements**

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)/Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications (from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
