Wythe County Community Hospital (WCCH) ER is a 14 bed ER with a Fast Track area to accommodate up to 8 patients.
We are Certified as a Stroke Ready Facility with The Joint Commission.
The ER nurse patient ration is 1:4.
The ER is staffed with Nurse Techs, Monitor Techs, and RNs.

Applicants must have a current VA or compact RN license. Additional requirements include:
At least one year of previous experience in ER as a RN strongly preferred.
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire.
Handle with Care within one year of hire.

Applicants must hold a current VA or compact RN license and are strongly preferred to have at least one year of ER experience. Required certifications include BLS, with ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care required within specific timeframes after hire.
