About the role

Perform complex technical imaging examinations and specialized MRI procedures for patients of all age groups. Collaborate with staff to organize schedules, triage procedures, and maintain imaging equipment and archiving systems.

Work Schedule

100% FTE, day/evening shift.

Monday through

Friday 6:30AM – 5:15PM. Rotating Saturday shifts among staff. On-call and holidays required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

MRI to: Perform technical imaging examinations and complex and specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems. Work independently in this position with all patient age groups and varying locations. Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures. Participate in the instruction of other fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.

Qualifications

Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred Work Experience Previous healthcare experience Required 2 years of clinical experience Preferred Licenses & Certifications Wisconsin Radiological License *WI Radiological License is not necessary if ARRT (MR) certification was obtained via the post primary pathway. Upon Hire Preferred ARRT Radiography (R) Certification Upon Hire Required or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) Upon Hire Required ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification within 30 months Required CPR certification within 3 months Required *For travelers, ARMRIT or ARRT MR and BLS required.
