Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Multi Modality Technologist, you will perform diverse diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI), producing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.

Your versatility is key to efficient operations.Every day you will expertly operate complex equipment, position patients for various examinations, and maintain records while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals for optimal imaging.To be successful, you need exceptional technical proficiency in multiple modalities, a comprehensive understanding of diverse anatomical structures, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Your adaptability, prioritization, and meticulous attention to detail will be paramount for accurate and timely diagnostic results.

Utilizes innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family.

Screen patients for CT/MR safety prior to procedure performance.

Acts professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience and not operational rivalries or roadblocks to care.

Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of X-ray/CT/MRI and related equipment to produce special radiographic images of specific body parts.

Position patients using immobilization and protective equipment as required.

Assist radiologist with procedure.

Administer contrast media as directed and per protocol.

Communicates effectively with patients and their families about the procedure to be performed in order to obtain information and to offer reassurance.

Establishes and maintains lines of communication with all other staff members and the Radiologist to ensure an effective and harmonious working environment.

Job Requirements Experience/Licensure - Three (3) years of experience in Radiology Medical Radiographer: TX (MRT) Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT)(R) BLS - CPR, within 14 days of hire Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging (RTMRI) Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT) within 9 months of hire Education - One of the following: Associates Degree - Allied Health Associates Degree - Radiologic Technology Completion of an accredited Radiology Program

Requirements

Requires three years of radiology experience and certifications including ARRT(R), BLS, and RTMRI, with RTCT required within 9 months. An associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiology program is necessary.
