Overview Heart Failure - Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Piedmont Rockdale Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the team at our clinic location at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital, in Conyers, GA.

This is a full-time position.

You will work alongside some of the most respected and highly-trained physicians.

Piedmont Heart Institute provides the full line of cardiovascular services with dedicated electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services.

Responsibilities

In this position you will: Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an outpatient hospital department/clinic, managing chronic patients Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patient’s record Write consults and office visits Prepare patient workups Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered. Work alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications & Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing Required and Master’s degree in Nursing Required or Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board Required Licenses and Certifications: ACLS Upon Hire Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and PA - Physician Assistant Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. Updated NCCPA certification for PA’s. Upon Hire Required or ACNP - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP/FNP) in the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required Business
