About the role

Provide and coordinate direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative healthcare services to patients in a Hematology Oncology setting. Collaborate with supervising physicians and nursing staff to manage health-illness needs and provide patient education.

  • SUMMARY: The Physician Assistant (PA), under the direction of the Medical Director and the onsite Supervising Physician provides and coordinates direct patient care and may act as a first assistant to the supervising surgeon. The PA provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative healthcare service, as delegated by a physician. The PA will report to the Nurse Manager/Director of the department for all employee/employer issues regarding departmental and organizational operations. Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited PA or Family Nurse Practitioner program with a valid California license and DEA number. Experience in oncology or surgery is desired, along with CPR certification.
