The Psychiatrist is responsible for performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, and implementing individualized treatment plans. This includes managing psychotropic medications and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to provide high-quality behavioral health care.
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Psychiatrist to join our team on a full-time basis. The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with mental health conditions. This role requires a collaborative, patient-centered provider who is committed to delivering high-quality behavioral health care in a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and risk assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, nursing staff, and other members of the care team Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination Respond to urgent psychiatric concerns as clinically appropriate Maintain compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management Schedule Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday / Weekend rotation Standard hours: e.g., 8:00 AM–5:00 PM On-call responsibilities: Yes
MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Active and unrestricted medical license in PA DEA registration and prescribing authority, as applicable Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical decision-making skills Commitment to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care Prior experience in inpatient setting preferred, but not required
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry with an active PA medical license and DEA registration. Prior experience in an inpatient setting is preferred.
