About the role

Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level for patients in the critical care unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines and acts as the primary nurse for assigned patients.

Full-time (72 hours biweekly)

6:45pm-7:15am

Weekend and holiday rotation

General Summary

Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.

Requirements

Requires a Diploma or Associate degree in Nursing, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
