. This contract, on-site position presents a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced medical environment, working alongside experienced healthcare professionals.

As a Locum NP or PA in Critical Care, you will play a vital role in managing complex patient cases, conducting thorough assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver effective treatment plans. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes in critical situations, making a significant impact in our medical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members on patient management.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic health records.
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.
  • Participate in policy development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with developments in critical care practices and protocols.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current NP or PA certification and licensure in Texas.
  • Strong clinical skills in critical care settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Experience in critical care or emergency medicine preferred.

Schedule: 7p-8a, Friday-Tuesday

Daily Volume: Average of 13 patients

Patient Population: Adult

Procedures: CVLs, HD caths, arterial lines

Will work autonomously

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
